If you bring your furbaby out of doors they MUST be on a leash. Purchase a harness and practice walking on a lead at home. A cat collar or harness is equipped with safety releases; these will not be appropriate for outside walks. Make sure that any collar or harness you buy will not come unlocked with pulling (we use dog collars and leashes). Many cats have hung themselves and that is why this mechanism is in place. Never leave your kitty at home alone in collar due to this choking hazard. We recommend taking your furbaby to a local pet store to ensure the right fit.

Please, NEVER allow your kitty to play free out of doors; too many cats have died from free roaming. Allowing a kitty in a yard that is fenced is not safe. The only safe outdoor area for a kitty is a “Catio”; this is enclosed on all sides, top, and bottom. Mesh is not acceptable; it must be a firm metal netting wall that the cat can not squeeze through or scratch through. A cat is the real Houdini of the world. You can see pictures of a catio on our product links page.
In addition; NEVER leave a window open even if there is mesh – cats can easily break through mesh in seconds. And please NEVER allow lounging on a balcony that is not secured.
